Dollar trades around 86-yen line after briefly dipping to 84-yen range

    TOKYO, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar continued its decline Friday morning in Tokyo, briefly touching a new 14-year low in the 84 yen range, before it returned to around 86 yen line.

    At noon, the dollar fetched 86.01-02 yen against Thursday's 5 p.m. quotes of 86.78-79 yen at 5 p.m. Thursday in Tokyo. U.S. financial markets were closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday.

    The euro traded at 1.4929-4932 dollars and 128.41-43 yen against late Thursday's quotes of 1.5089-5090 dollars and 130.95-99 yen in Tokyo.
