    LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- After enjoying his most successful season with Los Angeles Galaxy, England midfielder David Beckham looks to his loan spell with Italy's soccer club AC Milan in January.

    Beckham needs more time to prove his worth to England manager Fabio Capello who is in charge of making the squad for June's World Cup finals in South Africa.

    According to the contact with Galaxy, Beckham will formally join AC Milan on Dec. 28, and stay in Italy for the rest of its season that ends on May 16.

    He scored two goals and had three assists in 11 games for the Galaxy this season.
