JAKARTA, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's annual inflation rate is predicted to reach 3.5 percent by the end of the year, the acting Indonesian Central Bank Governor Darmin Nasution said here on Tuesday.

Darmin said that the annual inflation rate would remain low even though the inflation rates in November and December will be a bit increasing at controllable pace.

"The government's move to intensively spend its remaining budget funds in the last two months would mildly rise up the inflation rate in insignificant pace," Darmin was quoted by the Detik.com as saying.

Estimating the inflation in November, the acting BI Governor said that it would reach a bit higher than it was in October that stood at 2.48 percent.

The Indonesian inflation rates have been in controllable low levels that made Indonesian government set economic growth target at around 4 to 4.5 percent this year.
