GOYANG, South Korea, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Liao Hui of China claimed the gold medal in the men's 69kg category at the world weightlifting championships here on Sunday.

    Liao, who got the champion in 2008 Beijing Olympics, lifted 160kg in the snatch and 186kg in the clean and jerk to catch the gold medal with a total of 346kg.

    Mirzoyan Arakel of Armenia had to settle for the silver with a total of 334kg, and Triyatno of Indonesia had the bronze with a total of 330kg.
