GOYANG, South Korea, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Wang Mingjuan of China won the gold medal in the women's 48kg total at the world weightlifting championships here on Saturday.

    Wang, 24, lifted 93kg in the snatch and 115kg in the clean and jerk to catch the gold medal with a winning total of 208kg.

    Ozkan Oz Sibel of Turky took the silver with 206kg and her compatriot Taylan Nurcan took the bronze with 205kg.
