PARIS, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- A rare daytime shooting attack on a street of Paris on Friday has left one dead and two others injured, the Paris police said.

    Just before noon, a man opened fire to a passing car with an automatic gun at Ambroise Pare Avenue, in 10th arrondissement of Paris.

    Three people in the car were hit, but the attacker ran away. One among the two seriously injured died later and the third one was slightly hurt, police said.

    The police have launched investigation into the incident and said that daytime shooting in the capital was very rare.
