Japanese girl has auroral dream

Photo taken on Nov. 8, shows Yuka Oh. Yuka Oh is a 9 years old girl who lives at the foot of Fuji Mountain in Shizuoka Prefecture of Japan. Both of Yuka's parents are Chinese, they settled down in Shizuoka after over ten years of struggle to make a living in Japan. Yuka is the third child of her family, she also has two elder sisters. The native place of Denho Oh, Yuka's father, is east China's Shandong Province, and he is famous for fish painting in both China and Japan. To provide a free environment to the three kids is the biggest wish of Yuka's parents, and they respect the ideas of all their children. Yuka Oh studies at the third grade of Yoshiwara School. She gets up at 6 o'clock everyday and walk about 50 minutes to go to school. To Yuka Oh, her school is like a playground and the teachers are friends. On leisure times, Yuka likes to go hiking with her sisters and mother because she loves the nature. As other kids, Yuka like cartoons especially Disney animations. Yuka has a little plan for the future, "I want to open a flower store of my own, because flowers are pretty and natural," she said. (Xinhua/Ren Zhenglai)
