TIRANA, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Macedonian health authorities said Wednesday that a 32-year-old man has died of A/H1N1 flu, the first fatality related to the virus in the western Balkan country.
It was reported that the man was admitted to the Skopje Clinic for Infectious Diseases with high temperature and breathing difficulty, and died of complications on Tuesday.
Health authorities said during the last 24 hours nine people have been hospitalized with symptoms of the new influenza. So far, more than 300 cases of the virus infection have been reported in the country.
