ANKARA, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Five people were found dead from carbon monoxide poisoning in northwest Turkey's Istanbul city Sunday, Turkish media reported.

A woman, her daughter and three grandchildren were found dead Sunday morning in their house in Umraniye district of Istanbul, the private NTV channel reported.

The deaths were caused by gas from the coal-burning stove, which was used for heating in the winter, the TV channel said.
