Roadside bomb wounds 2 in N Afghanistan

    KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- A roadside bomb struck a vehicle of a construction company in Kunduz province north of Afghanistan, wounding two persons including director of the company, an official of the company said Sunday.

    "The Director of Kata Khil Construction Company, Dad Gul Dilawar and another sustained injuries as a mine planted by militants struck his car Saturday night," Mohammad Usman told Xinhua.

    Kata Khil Company is an Afghan firm and has been involved in reconstruction activities in Afghanistan over the past several years.

    Usman, however did not point finger at any particular groups or individuals but accused the enemies of peace a term used against Taliban militants of organizing the attack.
