ANKARA, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- A high-speed train derailed in western Turkey on Friday, with no casualty reports yet, the private TV channel Haber Turk reported.
Four cars of the train, which was heading to Turkey's western Eskisehir Province from the Turkish capital Ankara, derailed near Eskisehir, according to the report.
There were 245 passengers on the train and ambulances were dispatched to the site, according to the semi-official Anatolia news agency, which said two cars of the train derailed.
Officials of the Turkish State Railways Administration (TCDD) said the accident happened when the train was switching rails, said Anatolia.
In August, a passenger train travelling from Eskisehir to Istanbul collided with a construction vehicle trying to cross tracks in the northwestern province of Bilecik, killing five people.
