Highland barley-brewed beer from China's Tibet enters U.S. market 

    LHASA, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- A local barley beer brewer in this capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region expects to sell more products to the United States in the second half of next year.

    According to orders from its American dealer, Dzambuling, Lhasa Beer Co., Ltd. will supply 1,000 tonnes, or 2.78 million bottles, of barley beer to the United States every month since next July, Norbu Tsering, the company's deputy general manager, told Xinhua Tuesday.  Full story

Tibet-produced highland barley beer popular in U.S. 

    BEIJING, Sept. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- The highland barley beer produced in Tibet has been becoming increasingly popular among Americans since the first batch of 11,340 boxes of such beer were shipped to the United States in May.

    At the moment, such beer is available in about 300 wine shops in California, Washington and other states of the U.S. Full story
