    MADRID, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid was the biggest name to be knocked out of the last 32 of the Spanish King's Cup on Tuesday night.

    Real Madrid beat Segunda B (third tier) side Alcorcon 1-0 in the Santiago Bernabeu, but lost the overall tie 4-1 on aggregate.

    It is one of the most embarrassing results in the club's long history and could lead to coach Manuel Pellegrini losing his job.

    Rafael Van der Vaart scored the only goal of the game with just eight minutes remaining and at the final whistle the fans in the Bernabeu vented their fury on Pellegrini.

    However, the Bernabeu was not the only Cup shock of the evening. Valencia was held to a 2-2 draw at home to another Segunda B side - Alcoyano and only qualified for the last 16 thanks to its 1-0 win in the away leg.

    Second Division Celta Vigo won 1-0 in Tenerife, to go through 2-1 on aggregate against a side recently promoted to the Primera Liga. Meanwhile Recreativo Huelva qualified on penalties after a 1-1 draw away to Sporting Gijon.

    Deportivo la Coruna was another Primera Liga team lucky to go through. Miguel Angel Lotina's side only drew 0-0 at home to Second division Murcia, but made good its 1-0 triumph away from home a fortnight ago.

    Villarreal sneaked home 1-0 against Puertollano, but had to wait until the 75th minute before Guiseppe Rossi scored the only goal of the game.

    Osasuna came out on top of an all Primera Liga tie, beating Xerez 3-1 on aggregate.

    Sevilla and Atletico Madrid had no such problems: Sevilla beat Atletico Ciudad 5-1 to go through 9-3 on aggregate, while Atletico Madrid's 6-0 thrashing of Marbella gave Quique Sanchez Flores men an 8-0 aggregate win. Maxi Rodriguez scored four of Atletico's goals.

    Finally Barcelona had to wait until the second half for the goals to arrive, but ended up comfortable 5-0 winners against Cultural Leon.

    Bojan Krkic opened the scoring with goals on 51 and 53 minutes, before Pedro Rodriguez, Leo Messi and Xavi Hernandez rounded off the rout.
