RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- The Brazilian economy will grow 0.2 percent this year, according to a Focus market survey released Monday by the country's central bank.

The figure is slightly more positive than expected by Brazilian economists who had predicted a 0.18-percent growth last week.

The survey also shows that the Brazilian economy is expected to grow 4.83 percent in 2010, up from the previous forecast of 4.8 percent growth.

According to the survey, Brazil's industrial production will fall 7.7 percent this year but will pick up and expand 6.5 percent next year.

Brazil's annual basic interest rate is predicted to stand at 8.75 percent this year and reach 10.5 percent in 2010, according to the survey.

The estimated inflation rate is 4.27 percent this year and 4.46percent next year.

Brazil's trade surplus would reach 25.5 billion U.S. dollars this year and fall to 16.25 billion dollars in 2010, according to the survey.
