6 killed in road accident in SW Pakistan

    ISLAMABAD, Nov. 7 (Xinhua) -- Six persons were killed and three others injured Saturday when a rickshaw collided with a coach on a road in southwest Pakistan, local TV channel reported.

    According to police sources, an over-speeding coach hit a rickshaw at Jacobabad- Shikarpur bypass in Sindh province killing five people on the spot, the private TV GEO News reported.

    Four others also sustained injuries whereas an injured succumbed to injuries while on the way to hospital.

    Two children were among the deceased, police said.

    The coach driver managed to flee from the scene. District Nazimof Shikarpur Mir Khan Mehar ordered inquiry of the incident.
