SANTIAGO, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya said on Friday that the dialogue with the de facto government of his country has finished, after the de facto leader Roberto Micheletti announced that he will lead the Government of National Unity.
"From here now on, we have declared that it is not possible to have a dialogue with a coup government. It is evident that they do not have honest talks, they do not keep their honor neither their word," Zelaya told Radio Cooperative de Chile, during a phone interview.
"The solution, if there is, we are taking it to the Organization of American States. Not to seek an internal agreement. It has been totally exhausted and it does not have any sense to continue it," Zelaya said from Tegucigalpa.
The Tegucigalpa-San Jose Agreement foresees the Honduran Congress to decide on Zelaya's restitution in power, however it reached death point when Micheletti announced he will continue in power.
Zelaya accused on Friday Micheletti of manipulating the international community by reaching an allegedly agreement between both parts in conflict.
"There is much uncertainty in Honduras, repression, political persecution, media censure," Zelaya said.
"These practices of having elections like in Afghanistan I think should not be done in Central America. We want elections under a political agreement, not under fire and war," Zelaya added.
