ULAN BATOR, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Vice Premier M. Enkhbold met with Yu Hongyao, China's ambassador to Mongolia, on Thursday, after the country decided to import H1N1 virus vaccines from China instead of those offered by the World Health Organization.

    The decision to use the Chinese vaccines was made by Mongolia's Ministry of Health after consultations between the working group and experts.

    Enkhbold gave Yu a note from the Mongolia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs about buying 400,000 doses and an official document to be sent to the head of the Chinese side of the China-Mongolia intergovernmental commission.

    As of Nov. 5, 706 people have been infected with the swine flu virus in Ulaanbaatar and 178 in 17 provinces.
