Six-year-old Venezuelan girl Ariannis Carolina Root poses for a picture in Valencia, capital of the state of Carabobo, on Nov. 1, 2009. Every day Ariannis goes to school in the morning, returns home for lunch at noon, and has dancing class in the afternoon. This outgoing, friendly girl says she loves music, especially dancing, because she could feel happiness and grief in it. Ariannis' dancing class costs her parents about 140-190 US dollars a month, sometimes even more if she participates in performances, but they are still very supportive. "I like my dancing teacher and the classroom in which we train", Ariannis said, altough she always feels strained after flexibility practices. "And I've made up my mind to keep at it until I succeed," she said. (Xinhua/Juan Carlos Hernandez)
