Iranians hold anti-U.S. rallies to mark 30th anniversary of embassy takeover
TEHRAN, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Tens of thousands of Iranians held demonstrations on Wednesday across the country to mark the 30th anniversary of the seizure of the U.S. embassy in Tehran by Iranian students.
In Tehran, the demonstrators gathered outside the former U.S. embassy in central Tehran, carrying placards expressing their hatred of the "arrogant powers" and shouting anti-U.S. and anti-Israel slogans. Full story
