CARACAS, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Venezuela rejected Wednesday the accusations of Israeli Vice Foreign Minister Dani Alayon that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez turned his country "into an Iranian outpost in the American continent."

The Venezuelan Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it rejects Alayon's remarks, considering them as "a new aggression against the Venezuelan people."

"This is an additional proof of rude attitude, interference and aggressiveness ... against pacific people and governments like Venezuela," said the ministry.

The Israeli government does not have moral to talk about "outpost" in Latin American countries, where it is a main supplier, after the United States, of weapons, technical advisors and mercenaries for the war and destruction policy in neighboring Colombia, the ministry added.

Venezuela said it has friendly and cooperative ties with Iran to boost the welfare of the peoples and peace in a multipolar world, which is a right and exemplary manifestation of constructive dialogue among various civilizations.
