BEIJING, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese shares opened slightly higher Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.16 percent to open at 3,133.51 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index added 0.11 percent to open at 12,945.33points.
The China Securities Regulatory Commission Wednesday issued a regulation, urging its staff members not to take part-time jobs in its supervised entities and for-profit organizations, in a bid to promote the steady and healthy development of the capital market.
