TOKYO, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks opened lower Thursday with the Key Nikkei index down 0.43 percent.

    At 9:15 a.m., the benchmark Nikkei 225 Average shed 42.12 points to 9,802.19.

    The broader Topix index was down 0.72 points to 880.55.
