PHNOM PENH, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Former Thailand Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra was formally appointed as private adviser of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and the economic adviser of the Royal Government of Cambodia by King Norodom Sihamoni, a statement of the Royal Government announced on Wednesday.
