CAIRO, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is to visit Egypt on Wednesday to meet President Hosni Mubarak, Al-Ahram daily reported
Clinton will hold talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Israeli-Palestinian conflict aiming at relaunching peace negotiations between the two sides.
These talks come two days after Clinton declared siding with Israel as regards the issue of settlement and the resumption of the peace talks.
On Saturday, Clinton stressed that a full Israeli settlement freeze was at no stage a precondition to the resumption of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.
