BANGKOK, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak will visit Thailand on Dec. 8-10, Thailand's Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya said Monday.
The Malaysian prime minister, however, will meet with Thailand's Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva in Thailand's far South, which borders Malaysia, Thai News Agency quoted Kasit as saying.
The two leaders will discuss many issues, including the overall bilateral relations, economic cooperation, and might also talk about a special administrative zone (for the South), Kasit said.
Thailand's deep South comprises mainly the three southernmost provinces of Yala, Pattani, Narathiwas, and some four districts of Song-kla province.
Over 3,500 people have been killed by the daily violence attack by the suspected separatists since January 2004.
