Chinese, Finnish FMs discuss bilateral ties

    BEIJING, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and visiting Finnish counterpart Alexander Stubb discussed bilateral ties and pledged further cooperation on Monday.

    Yang hailed the growth of China-Finland relations, which enjoyed firm political, economic and social bases, and cooperation on international and regional affairs.

    Yang also appreciated Finland's adherence to the one-China policy.

    Stubb said Finland would unswervingly stick to the one-China policy and contribute to the further development of bilateral relations.

    Stubb was in Beijing for a two-day visit as a guest of Yang.
