NEW DELHI, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- India Wednesday ruled out the possibility of any military intervention in war-ravaged Afghanistan by joining the U.S.-led coalition force.

"I am saying categorically that there is no question of Indian military involvement in Afghanistan. I do not foresee such a situation, not now or in the future," Indian Defense Minister AK Antony told the media in the national capital.

The defense minister said that India was already involved in Afghanistan for humanitarian aid, reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts.
