WASHINGTON, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Special Envoy to Sudan Scott Gration will visit Turkey, Nigeria and Sudan between Oct. 27 and Nov. 2, the State Department said on Tuesday.
During his six-day visit, Gration will have discussions with officials of the three countries regional issues, including peace process in Sudan.
During his stay in Khartoum and Juba, Sudan, Gration will have bilateral discussions with the ruling National Congress Party and the Sudan People's Liberation Movement on resolving the outstanding issues of Comprehensive Peace Agreement implementation.
Gration will attend the opening session of the African Union's Peace and Security Council in Abuja, Nigeria. He will also participate in a meeting involving the envoys from China, the European Union, France, Russia and Britain, the State Department said in a statement.
