MOSCOW, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- Two Russian women died of A/H1N1 epidemic, the Interfax news agency quoted Russia's chief sanitary official as saying on Tuesday.
Two women, aged 29 and 50, died in the far eastern city of Chita, Gennady Onishchenko, the official, told Interfax. "Both hada confirmed diagnosis of A/H1N1 and suffered from pneumonia," he said.
The 29-year-old woman was pregnant and doctors were unable to save the baby, he added.
