WUXI, China, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese defending champion Wu Liuxi succeeded in claiming her third World Cup title in the women's 10m air rifle at the ongoing ISSF World Cup Final in Wuxi, China.

    Wu, who equaled the world record in qualification, suffered a blunder at her very first shot while another Chinese Yin Wen managed to keep her perfect form on the World Cup to top the list after one shot.

    Wu got back her rhythm afterwards, avoiding further errors, while Yin and Russian veteran Lioubov Galkina failed to stay on their top level.

    Wu managed to upset her rivals with 503.5 points, grabbing her third World Cup gold medal following victories in 2005 and 2008.

    Yin Wen got a silver medal, and Galkina took the bronze.
