ABUJA, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Head coach of the German U-17 team Marco Pezzaiuoli said in Abuja on Sunday that the team could defeat Argentina in their next match at the ongoing FIFA U17 WorldCup.
Pezzaiuoli told reporters that the team should not be underrated after it drew 3-3 with Nigeria on Saturday.
Germany will play Argentina on Tuesday at the Abuja National Stadium.
"My players were not strong in the mind in Saturday's game and we paid dearly for it. We played well in the first half because we controlled the game throughout the period," he said.
"We are in this tournament to win every game and we can defeat Argentina in our next match. My team wants to win all our games," he added.
According to the coach, the first half of Saturday's game was reflective of a typical German side as it dominated the period.
The German side squandered a massive 3-0 lead as the Nigerians took the initiative after Robert Labus was given the marching orders in the 53rd minute.
