KINSHASA, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Council of Ministers of the Economic Community of Central African States (CEEAC) on Friday ended their three-day conference in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The ministerial meeting paid the way for the 14th summit of the regional bloc set to open on Saturday in Kinshasa, organizers said.

The Council of Ministers reviewed documents including those on the financial and economic crisis, and on climate change.

Sub-region integration and peace topped the agenda of the meeting, and its conclusions will be submitted for approval to the heads of state and government at the summit.

Ministers from nine countries participated in the meeting, whereas Equatorial Guinea was absent.

The 14th CEEAC summit was supposed to be held in Kinshasa in June, but was postponed due to the death of Gabon's then President Omar Bongo Ondimba.
