BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Friday that it had started anti-dumping investigation into X-ray security inspection facilities imported from the European Union (EU).
The probe will be due by Oct. 23, 2010, and be extended to April 23 of 2011 under special circumstances.
MOC said it received the probe application filed by the Nuctech Company Limited, China's leading inspection equipment maker, on Aug. 28, 2008.
The ministry said it decided to start the investigation after examination.
China requests WTO panel to investigate EU anti-dumping measures
GENEVA, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese government on Monday requested the World Trade Organization (WTO) to establish an expert panel to investigate whether the European Union's antidumping measures on Chinese-made fasteners violate trade rules.
The Chinese mission to the WTO has sent a letter to the chairman of the WTO's Dispute Settlement Body, requesting for the establishment of the panel, the mission said in a statement. Full story
