STOCKHOLM, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Norwegian health authorities on Friday announced that they advise all Norwegians to be vaccinated against A/H1N1 flu, according to reports reaching here from Oslo.
"Persons in high risk groups will be inoculated first, and the rest of the population will follow, but probably not before the middle of November," said the Norwegian online newspaper The Norway Post.
It also said ten persons had died from the flu in Norway so far. About 2,000 persons have been confirmed with A/H1N1 infections. In many schools and kindergartens, 50 percent of the children are absent.
"Already, there are daily long lineups at many vaccination centers around the country, and many GPs report that they are inundated with calls from nervous patients who either have symptoms, or want to know where to go for inoculation," the report added.
