JINAN, East China, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Top-seeded players of men's doubles Zeng Shaoxuan and Zhang Ze defeated their rivals for the semifinals of the tennis tournament at the Chinese National Games on Friday.

    Representing Jiangsu, Zeng/Zhang beat Bai Yan and Wu Di, who represented Shanghai, 6-2, 6-2.

    "We played much above the usual level," said Zeng Shaoxuan. "Ourrivals caused a lot of problems for us. But we held on to win the match."
