STOCKHOLM, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Norway on Wednesday condemned the suicide attack in Sistan-Baluchistan province of south-eastern Iran, in which 57 people lost their lives, according to reports reaching here from Oslo.
A total of 57 people were killed and more than 150 injured in the suicide attack, which took place on Oct. 18. The UN Security Council, UN Secretary-general Ban Ki-moon and the EU have all condemned the attack, said a statement released by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"This is a very tragic situation," said Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store.
"Norway deeply deplores this terrorist act. I wish to express our sympathy for those who were injured or lost loved ones in the attack," he added.
