BEIJING, Oct. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- One of Madonna's Manhattan neighbors has filed a  complaint in the New York State Supreme Court about the pop star's habit of rehearsing with loud music, saying it is a nuisance for other residents.

"Madonna and one or more of her invited guests repeatedly dance and train... to unreasonably high-decibel, amplified music, causing noise and vibration to pour through the walls, ceilings and radiators," claims the lawsuit, filed by Karen George, who lives directly above the 51-year-old singer in the Upper West Side building.

George said she has been forced to vacate the building, which overlooks Central Park, during Madonna's rehearsal sessions because the noise and vibrations became "unbearable."

The building board said it has threatened Madonna with eviction if the noise does not stop. The management company and Madonna's spokeswoman both declined to comment.

Madonna moved to her seventh-floor apartment in Manhattan's upscale Central Park West avenue after her divorce last year from British filmmaker Guy Ritchie.
