QINGDAO, East China, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Olympic silver medallist Fu Haifeng teamed up with Zhu Lihua to advance into the men's doubles final of badminton tournament at the 11th Chinese National Games here on Saturday.

    The Guangdong pair eased past Zheng Bo and Chai Biao from Hunan 21-11, 21-9 in a 39-minute semifinal.

    Fu paired with Cai Yun from Jiangsu to win a silver medal at the Beijing Olympic Games. Fu and Cai were also twice world champions in 2006 and 2009.

    "We might take on Cai Yun and Xu Chen in the final," said Fu. "It'll be a tough match for us as they are both national team members."

    Cai and Xu will play Guo Zhendong and Hong Wei from Fujian in the other semifinal.
