TEHRAN, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said Tehran will pursue the issues of Palestine, al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian refugees and prisoners (in Israel) in the international arena, the official IRNA news agency reported on Thursday.

Larinaji made these remarks in a meeting with the visiting delegation of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in Tehran on Wednesday, the report said.

"We will follow the UN fact-finding committee's report on the Palestine issue," said Larijani.

Iran and its Majlis (Parliament) will support the Palestinians until the complete liberation of the occupied lands is reached, he said.

Recently, the UN fact-finding report prepared by South African Judge Richard Goldstone and his team on the Israeli war in Gaza accused both Israel and Hamas movement of committing war crimes against civilians last winter.

For his part, Maher Taher, head of visiting delegation, appreciated the continued support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its Majlis for the Palestinian issue, according to IRNA.

On Monday, top Iranian lawmaker Kazzam Jalali criticized certain Arab leaders for their indifference to the Palestinian problems, and accused them of having secret interactions with the Israeli regime.

Iran does not recognize Israel and has strongly criticized the Israeli offensive on Palestinians and its occupation of Palestinians territories.

Israel, considered to be the Middle East's sole nuclear power, regards Iran as its major security threat in the region due to repeated statements by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that the Jewish state is doomed to be wiped off the map.
