QINGDAO, East China, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Olympic silver medalist Xie Xingfang finished her women's singles trip in the National Games badminton tournament after conceding to world No. 1 Wang Lin in the quarterfinals here on Thursday.
Xie, who plays for south China's Guangdong, lost to Wang from Zhejiang 21-15, 21-16.
Xie, 29, might retire after the National Games and take up college studies.
Xie won the silver medal in the Beijing Olympics after losing to compatriot Zhang Ning in the final. She was also a twice world champion in 2006 and 2007.
