BEIJING, Oct. 15 -- Police officials caught a thief red-handed trying to steal one of their cars in Shenyang, Liaoning province, last week.

    Following several complaints of car thefts from a neighborhood in the city, cops started parking their own cars there in hopes of nabbing the culprits.

    The officers, who were sitting inside the car, the windows of which were tinted jet black, saw a man trying to look inside the vehicle.

    The accused then took out a rod and tried breaking the car window when the officers came out of the vehicle and arrested him.
