BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said here Wednesday China is ready to work with other members states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO) to address challenges and share opportunities to advance regional peace and stability ina sustained way.
Wen made the remark at the eighth prime ministers' meeting of the SCO, which groups China, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Mongolia, India, Iran and Pakistan are observers to the regional organization. Full story

BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- The eighth prime ministers' meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states released a joint communique to further the cooperation among the member states.
The meeting, held in the Great Hall of the People, was chaired by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and attended by his counterparts from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives from the SCO observer nations and Afghanistan. Full story

BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- China will carry out the announced ten billion U.S. dollars of loans for Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states and continue to send trade and investment delegations to other members, said Premier Wen Jiabao Wednesday.
Wen also raised a seven-point proposal to enhance regional cooperation at the eighth prime ministers' meeting of the SCO member states in Beijing. Full story

BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- China said Wednesday it would support the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) with funds to join in the 2010 Shanghai Expo.
