BEIJING, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) held a reception here Tuesday to mark the 60th anniversary of China-Czech diplomatic ties.

Addressing the reception, Li Jianping, vice chairman of the CPAFFC, said China attaches importance to China-Czech relations as the two countries and two peoples enjoy a traditional friendship.

Li said the two countries should develop the ties in line with the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, which feature mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, mutual non-aggression, non-interference in each other's internal affairs, equality and mutual benefit, and peaceful coexistence.
