HELSINKI, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- A fire burned a detached house Friday night in Naantali, southwestern Finland, killing five young people and injuring nine others.

    These young people were gathering in the wood structure building for a party when the fire broke out. The fire department received the alarm shortly before midnight and sent about 20 fire engines for rescue.

    The five dead, all less than 20 years old, were found from the destroyed house. The injured have been sent to hospitals.

    The cause of the fire was under investigation.
