WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. special envoy to Sudan Scott Gration will visit Russia and Libya from Monday to Saturday, said the State Department on Monday.
In Moscow, according to an official statement, Gration will meet with his Russian counterpart Mikhail Margelov and other Sudan envoys and representatives of international organizations.
Envoys from China, the European Union, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, will meet on Tuesday and Wednesday in Moscow on the implementation of Sudan's comprehensive peace agreement and Darfur crisis.
In Tripoli, Gration will continue his efforts to "build cohesion among key Darfuri armed movements in support of an anticipated relaunch of the Doha peace process later this month," said the State Department.
