OUAGADOUGOU, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- A six-day international show of hotel and tourism is held in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina faso, with the participation of several other African countries.
With a theme of "Fashion and Tourism", the exhibition runs from Sept. 29 to Oct. 4 to promote the industry in the West African region.
Tommy Byrne, an official of the World Tourism Organization, opened a conference on "excellent tourist destinations".
Other participants include Mali, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Niger and Senegal.
