ISLAMABAD, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's health ministry will install scanning machines on all the international airports to stop increasing cases of A/H1N1 flu in Pakistan, according to officials.

Program Manager of National Influenza Program Dr. Arif Zaka said that all the patients of the A/H1N1 Flu came from abroad, adding that Pakistan is a safe country from the influenza virus.

He said that through precautionary measures people can overcome this disease. People having the flu should not meet others, and students having the influenza virus must avoid attending the school, he added.

"The flu had started from Mexico where this disease spread in human beings from pigs," he said, adding "this flu is most dangerous for the females, patients of sugar, TB, heart patients and fat people."

He said that if anyone feels difficult to take breath in the flu and their color appear to be blue then a patient must contact doctor as soon as possible.

He also added that this program was started in 2006 when the bird flu spread all over in the world and the World Health Organization declared Pakistan bird flu free which was the main role of that program.

He said that two patients of A/H1N1 flu have been confirmed in Pakistan's National Institute of Health.

He appealed to the media to play their role to stop the flu in Pakistan and coordinate with the health ministry.
