American Spearmon wins men's 200m at Shanghai Golden Grand Prix

    SHANGHAI, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- American Wallace Spearmon, bronze medal winner at the Belrin world championships, won the men's 200 meters at the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix here on Sunday.

    Spearmon, who was third after world record holder Usain Bolt of Jamaica and Panama's Alonso Edward in Berlin, clocked 20.57 seconds for the gold.

    Kim Collins of St. Kitts & Nevis, the 2003 world 100m champion, was second in 20.90 and American Shawn Crawford finished third in 21.04.
