TBILISI, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- Georgian State Minister for National Integration Temur Yakobashvili said Tuesday's train blast in the west of the country was a terrorist attack, local media reported on Wednesday.

    The accident would apparently arouse public panics, Yakobashvili told reporters.

    The explosion on Tuesday morning hit the last car of a 23-car train, which was leaving the railway station in Zugdidi for capital Tbilisi. Only one crew member was in the car, and there is so far no report of casualties.

    Hexogen, which is usually used in mixtures with other explosives and detected in many bombing attacks in Russia, was found in the blast, Yakobashvili said.

    This was the fourth bombing attack in the region this year.
