BEIJING, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Asia vs Europe table tennis competition will start in Beijing on Tuesday.

    The two-day event will pit the top Asian players against the leading European players.

    China's Ma Long and Ma Lin, South Korea's Joo Se Hyuk, Chinese Taipei's Chuang Chih-yuan and Hong Kong player Cheung Yuk form the Asian team.

    The European team is comprised of Belarus' Vladimir Samsonov, Greece's Kalinikos Kreanga, Germany's Dimitrij Ovtcharov, Denmark's Michael Maze and Sweden's Jorgen Persson.
